weird words...

Mucinex kept waking me up last night. at least i think it was Mucinex. i don't think the adrenal rebuilder would have raised my heart rate like that, and i usually tolerate the ibuprofen pretty well.the adrenal stuff said to take 1-2 at meals and one at bedtime.why do we call it "bedtime"?when i drive somewhere, i don't call it "cartime."when i get to work, i don't call it "desktime" or "chairtime."when i fly somewhere, i don't call it "planetime."maybe "bed" is almost as much of a verb as it is a noun.what are some words/phrases that you find odd?-apl

i get varying reactions. many of you have said "wow!", "that sounds awesome!", and "that place is amazing!"other reactions have been odd. i have had at least one "okay..." and even got a "why?" yesterday.well...this is why.if that doesn't convince you, then i'm sorry, because you're missing out on some serious recognition of beauty.we are so excited!!-apl

and the sky is already pitch. this could partially be a result of today's overcast skies, but still...it's weird that businesses are still open when it's this dark. this comes to mind because i have to go pick up a shirt at the cleaners when i leave the office in a few minutes. surely i am too late - they must be closed by now. but they are open till 7, so i have plenty of time.kids growing up on farms before without electricity must have loved the wintertime.-apl
