Pomp and Circumstance

So, last night the two other Nashville graduates from my program and I had a graduation party, complete with our very own hooding ceremony, to the tune of the other party guests humming Pomp and Circumstance. It was a LOT of fun, and surprisingly enough, felt like a real graduation ceremony. YAY!!! :)...and considering how bad my haircut looked with my mortarboard back in 2002 at my undergrad, I was quite happy with how it looked this year... ;)

Musings

I just enjoyed my first taste of Trader Joe's goods (white bean hummus on a whole wheat pita). She inspired me.Last Tuesday I finished all my graduate school work. PRAISE GOD!!! I'm quite excited, as you can imagine. It's going to take a few weeks to truly get over the stress of grad school, but I'm sure I'll get there.I'm not sure driving 14 hours in less than 48 hours with them plus one other person in a 5-passenger vehicle is quite the way to get over grad school stress ;) It was more fun than I expected, though. My best friend's dad died yesterday. Please pray for her and her family. She wasn't close with him, but I am SOOOO thankful that their last meeting (day after Thanksgiving) ended on a good note. Another praise God!Lots of other stuff going through my head these days, too, but those are some of the main ones. Have a great week!
