It has been a great year with her, watching her grow and learn all sorts of things. I love that girl so very much! We anticipate a good week with some family coming into town and spending time with both sets of parents on Turkey Day! I have a few days off of work this week so there should be some relax time. I was wearing my seasonal beard, but had to shave it last night because I had to get my Texas ID renewed and my picture was going to be taken. It was fun while it lasted. I did for a few minutes leave the mustache and Crystal seemed to like me with the 'stach, so the next time I grow it, I may end up keeping it for a little while. That's really about it. Crystal, the girls, and I went and did a bit of shopping. Emma got a lot of new fall/winter clothes so that's nice. The rest of the weekend was quite relaxing. A new thing I'm doing with Emma is talking with her on the phone. You see, Emma has a toy cell phone and she calls all sorts of people and has these mock conversations with them. I labored on labor day making my signature cinnamon vanilla ice cream. Well, I didn't exactly labor since the crank is electric, but I did do some stirring and had to properly mix the ice and rock salt. Anyways, the ice cream came out just the way I like it and for those in my family that ate of it, I believe that they liked it too. There's a bit left for me to eat some more today.
