Going to a wedding this weekend.....IF my plans work out. I will fly on stand-by status, so I never REALLY know how things will go until the very last minute. I will keep my fingers crossed and my attitude positive!

They always have something interesting to say. I love the knowledge and wisdom that come from conversations with old people. And, the patience -- most of the older people I know have such an abundance of patience!
And what I have realized about most old people is that they are really pretty young people trapped in old, wrinkly bodies! Which is not any different from the way I usually feel -- like I'm still about 25 years old.
I have LOTS to learn from the old people I know. I look forward to it!
In the last 10 yrs. or so I have realized that it doesn't matter how old you GET, you're mentally still young -- it's tough to realize that you're really getting older! Almost every week we talk about getting my dad on video telling all his stories -- we HAVE to get with it, because he's diabetic and really doesn't take care of himself!
I agree, I've always been drawn to older people. That is so true that they are young people trapped in a broken down body. If you take the time you can usually find a really fun, interesting person in there.
