camp was AMAZING!! i got to hang out with some old friends and make some new ones as well. the devotionals were excellent, and i enjoyed the singings with stephen rouse in the upper room. i'm still not very good at ping-pong though. =D caleb absolutely murdered me when i played against him. we stopped when the score was 15-0.
my only regret was that camp was so short. i left before breakfast on wednesday. =)
i can pick up my pictures tomorrow, so i'll probably update this post with them then.
that's all
luv yall
liz
P.S. i'm getting a bit tired of the pink/purple alternation, so i'm going to replace the pink with this blue that i use for the guys on my friends list. (which i finally updated btw) =)
the 911 dispatcher came over the radio earlier... you all need to be on the lookout for an unidentified flying object, last seen in the skies of North Mississippi, making frequent stops and identifiable by a red light on the front end.
=D
we open gifts on christmas eve, so i can tell you what i got...
some sheets for my new sized mattress. (which i still haven't gotten) =)
a david cook cd
jewelry
some shirts
and
a guitar!! (did NOT see that coming at all)
however, the sad thing was that whilst tuning my new guitar, i broke the "g" string... =(
in other news...
i go to winter camp at RYC next sunday, and i'll return next wednesday!!!
not really, i just got distracted. *coughcough* neopets*cough*
hmmm. currently chicking up on the posts everyone made whilst i was away...
PSAT score came in, i got a cumulative of 182.
mid-terms are nxt week; i'm sortof prepared. i'll be studying more and more as each individual one approaches. thankfully, we take them in the mornings and are allowed to check out after our exams without being counted absent.
monday:none; review all day
tuesday, wednesday: two each day; check out at about lunchtime
thursday, friday: one each day (friday's teacher wouldn't let me move it. ugh); check out at about ten or so
friday will be my last day of school until the sixth of January!!
this year i'll be going to winter camp at RYC. please comment if ur coming so that i'll know who to expect. i'll be there the 28-30th (i think)
more and more i'm coming to realize just how much i'm blessed. example:
we live at the very end of a water-line. if there are any breaks in it, we get brown water. earlier this month, it got so bad that my bathwater resembled tea. but the brightside is that now, *almost* every time i run a tub of water or fill a glass, i say a quick prayer of thanksgiving for the blessing of pure water.
ummm... haha I'm still not totally sure how to read the score :p I made a 155 Selection Index... and a 66 Percentile... I don't know which one to go by though :p
