Anywho, my very wise mother told me last weekend to wait out gas prices and they'd go down by this weekend. WRONGGGGG! Not only did they not go down but they went up even more and there was a HUGE gas shortage here in Nashville. Every gas station has been out of gas for days now, apparently, why didn't I know this? So, after leaving work my tank was about empty and I realized that I should probably get some gas regardless of the price, not such an easy task. I drove around for an hour just trying to find stations with gas. I FINALLY found one in Brentwood and I had to get in the monstrous line and wait my turn. Like a good citizen, I orderly got in the long line to wait. However, stupid people kept cutting in line. They'd get in and out with their gas. Oh man, I was so mad that I was coming up with new gestures (j/k!!). So anyway, after an hour wait I finally filled my tank up. Crazy!
They've had a lot of news coverage about the gas shortage in Nashville. Maybe I saw your car on tv and didn't know it. Glad you were finally able to fill up!
Yeah, it's pretty much ONLY in Nashville because these selfish idiots with SUV's are filling up every few hours and then hoarding gas cans in their garages. It's completely artificial. You are either driving around with a full tank or on empty.
The company I work for made me a job offer this week to head up my own hygiene department at a new office because they were impressed with my skills. Very flattering, however, I turned it down because I'm so happy where I am. Maybe in a couple of years.
