Hey Everyone!!
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!! Ours was busy but we still had a blast spending time with family and eating a lot of food!!!
I love this time of year! I just can't believe how fast this year has gone. TJ and I have almost been married for a year and that is crazy to me. It's been a wonderful first year of marriage. I have the best hubby ever! I can't wait for our first Christmas together so we can start our own little family traditions! It's going to be so much fun!
I am almost finished with my Christmas shopping which makes me really happy. I hate waiting til the last minute and having to be in stores on Christmas eve. I did that last year and quickly learned to start early and never do that again.
I am so excited TJ and I are going to see the Nutcracker this weekend. I have always wanted to see it and have never gotten a chance. I can't wait!! Also, the weekend before Christmas we are going to the Galazy of Lights in Huntsville. We had planned to do that last year, but we were in the middle of planning a wedding so we never got around to doing it. I absolutely love Christmas lights. TJ says that I have tacky tastes but I think they are fun and pretty : )
In other news I am planning a small little family baby shower for Carol. I know traditonally you only get a shower for the first, but we wanted to do a little something for her. We are planning it for the beginning of January and it's been fun so far. I can't believe that Blake will be here in less then 2 months! Carol is hoping that he comes a few days early. She likes the January birthstone better than Feburary. I know she is crazy : )
Ok, well I know this blog was really random and crazy but it was just some things that have been going on.
If I don't post until after Christmas I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!
I just wanted to thank everyone of you for the thoughts, comments, cards, and most of all prayers for my family. It has been a hard week but I know that MawMaw is in a much better place now and we will see her again one day! It's such a wonderful blessing to have brothers & sisters in Christ to help us through these tough times! I love each and every one of you!
Thanks so much again!
Many of you know my grandmother Lottie Baggett. I am asking for prayers on behalf of me and my family. She passed away tonight from complications of hypothermia. Sunday morning my brother Jonathan found her in her driveway curled up in a ball. We believe she was sleep walking because her laundry basket with clothes were in the driveway also. When they got her to the ER her body temp was 77 degrees. She was in very critical condition at that point but the doctors and other ER staff worked very hard and by the time TJ and I left that afternoon close to 4pm her temp was back to 96.0 degrees. They put her in ICU @ Cullman Regional Medical Center for observation. This morning she had some heart irregularity but they were able to get that stablized. They did some tests and her electrolyes were off and it looked like she had possibly had a heart attack. Her normal doctors are at St. Vincent's in Birmingham so they were going to transfer her there so she could be in their care. When they were about to transfer her out in the ambulance she was complaining of chest pain and shortness of breath. They decided to keep her there to make sure she was stable before sending her to B'ham. My mom called me at 5pm to tell me that her blood pressure was very low and she was unresponsive. TJ and I left to be there just in case something happened and at 5:35 she had passed away.
It's a hard time for our family right now. She was a wonderful woman. A strong Christian woman who was loved by many. I have no doubt in my mind that I will see her again in Heaven. I guess we are just selfish cause I want her here with me but I know that she is at peace and no longer suffering. Please just keep me and my family, especially my dad in your prayers.
We are still not sure on arrangements just yet but we believe that the visitation will be at Hanceville Funeral Home tomorrow night @ 6 and the funeral sometime on Wednesday. I will try to post them on here when we know for sure!
***Arrangements***
We found out the arrangements for mawmaw. Her visitation will be tomorrow night, Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm. The funeral will be Thursday @ 2pm.
Thank you all for your prayers and support.
God Bless you All

Laura!! I'm so sorry :( Here goes the generic 'if you need anything, please let me know.' Really though, I mean it! Lets all hang out soon too, will and I miss our friends.
I'm so sorry, Laura. My dear grandmother (Mama Ree) has been gone for 17 years and I still miss her so! She was such a big part of my life. My heart goes out to you...
