In case you haven't heard, I'm engaged. For the full story go to her or go there to offer condolences.
The Titans lost today. Rarely ever do I totally disagree with Coach Fisher. On 4 and 3 with 1:30 left in FG range, you gotta go with the FG. Don't Go for. Win with defense. Its what got you to 12-1 (now 12-2)...
And the rest of the story
And now you know the rest of the story
My mom used to have people recite their memory verses in front of her. One such person is her.
Roughly 22-23 years later, their children had Freshman English together and he said he would never date her. Through a interesting turn of events, they dated for 2 years 8 months when he realized how great she was.
Here’s the timeline
Dec 6-I drove to Murfreesboro to talk to her father, who was there to get his son’s broken down car
Dec 8-Buy the ring
Dec 12-I give her a fake ring to make sure she doesn’t expect anything.
Meet at 3:00, Drive to Opry Mills for dinner and the lights at Opryland hotel.
I informed our friends of the plan. I managed to get her away from our friends to a elevator tower of delta island and water falls. I drop to one knee, ask her to marry me, and she says
“Get up, stop joking, are you serious, for real,”
Realizing that I wasn’t joking,
She said yes.
Bironas was too hot today to go for it on 4th down... Although...I loved the onside kick call before the half... But yeh...I'm with you...I was watching and asked myself..."What in the world is he thinking?"
Don't you love it when you revise a paper 3 times, attempting to have it sound like college paper and get a C.
But when you turn a paper in with one revision, that actually looks more like a HS freshman paper, you get an A.
Hmm, sounds logical, right.
1 semester of WKU is officially in the books. 2 more to go. At least for a BA degree.
I leave you with this
When I was a young minister, a funeral director asked me to hold a grave side service for a homeless man with no family or friends. The funeral was to be at a cemetery way out in the country. This was a new cemetery and this man was the first to be laid to rest there.
I was not familiar with the area and became lost. Being a typical man, of course, I did not ask for directions. I finally found the cemetery about an hour late. The back hoe was there and the crew was eating their lunch. The hearse was nowhere to be seen.
I apologized to the workers for being late. As I looked into the open grave, I saw the vault lid already in place. I told the workers I would not keep them long, but that this was the proper thing to do. The workers, still eating their lunch, gathered around the opening.
I was young and enthusiastic and poured out my heart and soul as I preached. I got so into the service that I preached and preached and preached, from Genesis to The Revelation.
When the service was over, I said a prayer and walked to my car. As I opened the door, I heard one of the workers say, "I never saw anything like that before and I've been putting in septic systems for twenty years."
