Well, we are finally done with all of our holiday travelling! It feels so good to be back into a routine and have everything back to normal. We had a great Christmas...It will probably be easier to make a list of what all we've done over the past few weeks:
-Dec. 19: Left for Tampa
-Dec. 20: Arrived in Tampa
-Dec. 21: Worship and lunch with all the Crane/Walker families
-Dec. 22: Went to Disney World (Soooo much fun! Landon
absolutely loved Disney and seeing all the
characters. We took tons of pictures! We were able
to do the character lunch with Winnie the Pooh and
characters and it was incredible!!!)
-Dec. 23: Grammy and Poppy took Landon to Build A Bear which is
something he's been wanting to do for a very LONG
time. Amanda graciously hosted a
playdate so we got to see Tara Clark and
Em. It was great to see everyone!
-Dec. 24: Bible Study and Christmas Eve
-Dec. 25: Santa, family time, Lunch with Cranes and Walkers
-Dec. 26: Lowry Park Zoo and Christmas Tree Lighting at
Wiregrass
-Dec. 27: Leave and Arrive home
-Dec. 31: Go to my parents for New Year's
-Jan. 1: Have Christmas with my family
THE END!
Oh, also, we have been pacifier free for 24 hours!!!! Landon got new bedding for Christmas for his toddler bed. So, last night he gave all of his passies to a little baby at church. So far, he has done pretty well. He and Mike put together the toddler bed tonight and he is fast alseep! I've already taken pics of him in his new bed!!! Maybe I'll post those later.

Wow! Congrats! That is so good! I'm glad so far he hasn't seemed to miss his friend too much. Luke had trouble for about a week and I caved once (I had kept one for such emergencys :). By the way - Ryan wants you to post a picture of your new ring.
I finally got the gift I've asked for for every "gift-giving" occoasion!!! A NEW WEDDING RING!!! As some of you know, my wedding ring and band were stolen when I was pregnant with Landon. So, I haven't had a wedding ring in over 2 1/2 years. Last night Mike gave me my Christmas present early and I love it!!! I am so excited. I asked him yesterday when he wanted to exchange presents with just the three of us. We leave for Tampa on the 19th and we usually exchange presents with each other and Landon before we leave. Well, he kept saying he wanted to exchange gifts last night and I was like "no way...it's two weeks before Christmas." Well, he said he couldn't stand it any longer so, he went ahead and gave it to me. I was soooo surprised! When I called our parents, I felt like I was telling them that we were engaged again! They knew how upset we were when my first ring was gone, so they were very happy for us... again!
This is so sweet! So where are the pictures of it? I bet it does feel like you are engaged going that long without a ring. Congrats on your new ring! How special!
yay! Good job Mike! I know how happy that must have made you. I've been thinking about you guys. I have a story for you so I'll call you soon. Does your new ring look anything like your old one? I'd love to see it! Now that is a great gift!
Thanks for the recipe. I miss you too! We're going to Mentone, AL and staying Christmas week at a cabin on Lookout Mountain. We'll come home for 2.5 days and then fly to California. Coulter is staying a week, me a week-and-a-half and I'm leaving the girls there for a little over a week and then flying back out to get them. The next month is pretty much going to be insane. : )
We definitely have to get through February before we have a "fun" trip. February will include a trip to the FC Lectures & Kentucky (maybe we could stop through on the way home). No special plans for while the girls are gone except to keep myself busy, which the calendar is already filling up. Maybe we can get up that way in March/April. When are you guys going to stop through a trip to Tampa???? ; )
Well you might not like Dave Ramsey. But you do remember that ring that Mike saved up and paid cash for. Dave would heartily approve of that. And Dave doesn't disapprove of shopping - he just thinks it should be in the budget. ;)
Roll Tide Roll! I haven't said much this season about our awesome football team. As some of you know, I can sometimes be a little "over the top" about my team and I have been trying to control that as well as show tact and not be an "auburn basher". However, after tonight,I can no longer hold my excitement in. We are 12-0...yes, we BEAT auburn! My daddy got us tickets to the game and it was soooo much fun! I only got in one little "spat" with an auburn fan and it was because she said that Alabama fans didn't know the fight song. Well, of course I had to let her know that I do know it so, I sang it to her. The final score was 36-0!!! GO BAMA!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
...this time next week, I might not be as excited. We play the gators! YIKES!
You crack me up! Glad you had fun at the game! I miss you - I need to call soon! I was thinking about AL playing Auburn today. I'm hoping a Big 12 team will get to play them for the national championship.
WooHoo! I've been using the mess out of the Bama burp cloth that you sent. :) But I'm drowning down here in a sea of Gator fans--ahhhhhh!!! I'm so jealous that you were at the game. Glad you had fun.
my mom and niece are coming out to visit this week (YAY!) and when I was talking to Mom recently, she was telling me AL was playing the Saturday she would be here and she was wondering if we were going to be able to be at the house to watch it. "but if we're not, it's ok; I just need to know so I can set the tape at home to record it before I fly out to CA" :) She's great...she cracks me up!
We've been keeping up with Alabama's games and have been so excited at how well they are doing! There is something so exciting about going to an SEC football game!
Well, Halloween was a blast. Landon LOVED trick-or-treating and even got to stay out past his bedtime. He was an alligator/lizard/dino/crocodile... He was called all of those things at least once throughout the night. The last three pics are from the Halloween party on Saturday night. It was a blast. We loved seeing all the costumes and we had fun dressing up as Nerds. Hope you all had a fun time!
You guys look precious. I think Mike should wear that to work everyday! And even dressed like that Landon is still adorable! Can't believe he talked you into letting him stay up past his bedtime. Where did you guys trick or treat? Your neighborhood? Still got that felon down the street? J/K
Of course I remember you! I'm so glad you found me. Your little boy is so cute. He looks kind of like Wesley. Hope y'all are doing well. You have a beautiful family. You tell all your family hi too!
On Saturday, Mike and I took Landon the the pumpkin patch in Clanton. It was so much fun! We were there at least 3 hours and enjoyed EVERY minute of it. It was perfect weather and we just had the best time! Here are some pics of our Fun Fall Day...
Those are great! I love the family picture and the one with the sunflower. I forgot that Michaiah was gold so you can't see her posts! She has a hilarious picture of her in laws dressed up as white trash Alabama fans. I just thought you'd like it. :)
Those are such sweet photos. I love Landon's face feeding the cow. : O I think sometime next year I want to plan a Thursday-Saturday trip to Birmingham to see you guys and go do something fun with the family. We don't have a whole lot of neat things to do around here. So keep an eye on your calendar of events around town and if something fun is coming to town let me know and we'll try to make it up (ie - a cute pumpkin patch!)
That looks like so much fun...and it makes me sad b/c a Tampa pumpkin patch consists of going to the local Methodist church where there's a tent of pumpkins set up. I miss home!
