Hmmm, I'm not sure if I'm a genius, or you're just that gorgeous. ;) But my Mom wanted to see pictures, so she looked at some on Facebook and she went NUTS over this picture.
Seriously, she stared at it for about 15 minutes. Haha. AND there were several she thought looked like me and Berto. She thought one of them was freakishly like us.
Dan tried using another blog, but it got too hard for everyone to comment on just his page and them he had to get on here to check us out. I hope it works for you; but, if I had a vote, I'd say PLEASE stay on here even if it is more inconvenient! :)
I don't think she did. I know, I shot those two from pretty far away, I just zoomed, and I meant to head over there and take one of ya'll actually posing from the front, and I got distracted by a kid. :(
thanks :) its been so hard to find time to post... plus our computer is getting a new hard drive put in so i only get internet time when brandon brings home his work computer at night and weekends...
everytime you post, im hoping its to announce you are pregnant!! :)
I saw your blog about finding new meals to cook. For the past two years, I've kept a little notebook that I keep in the kitchen with my cookbooks. Everytime I make a new dish (or an old with with different combination of sides) or dessert, I write it down in the notebook. That way, if I'm ever in a weekly slump and can't remember what I've made or what went well together, I just flip through my tried and true recipes. Works for me:)
Thank you! Your in-laws found out yesterday about the upcming baby. :) I'd be more than happy to email you our scavenger hunt list, but it's a bit out of the ordinary. It didn't consist of finding items as much as it did doing silly things in "costumes" in front of strangers. ;)
that looks like so much fun! we just carved our pumpkins last night but I'm thinking we should of done it outside like you guys....my kitchen is so "sticky"!
It's been a very busy month. We've been traveling every weekend. We went to 2 weddings and have just had a blast. We're definitely making up for lost time.
I'm back down to one job. It was way to busy with 2. I never got anything done and I just lived for the weekends. I picked the landscaping job. It's just so much more laid back. And I get paid more, which always helps in making a decision.
I think this weekend we are going to stay here and go to a fun pumpkin carving party with friends from chruch. Then next weekend we are going to Austin once again to watch over my parent's house while they're up north.
I hear there is a cold front coming tonight. So everyone in Texas stay warm! I love the fall! Pictures to come soon of the pumpkin carving party!
Cute picture! That's good that you went down to one job. To bad you don't get Chloe's stuff payed for now though. :( But that's cool that you're using your degree! :)
I'm going to be a substitute soon. Hehe. I have orientation in November.
Weddings are so much fun! That is a cute pic. I'm glad things are going well...and glad you are down to one job! I don't think I could handle 2 jobs!!!
1) I'm a tv junkie. I LOVE tv..... but I know how much of a waste of time it is so we gave up the DVR and I'm trying to come back to reality.
2) I love math. More like I love high school level algebra I & II. Maybe even calculus. I could sit down with a bock and challenge myself all day.
3) Although it's never been seconded by a doctor, I think I'm hypoglycemic. When I get hungry, I get crabby. There is a "joke" in my family that if I'm upset I get asked, "Bekah are you hungry?"
4) I'm very particular about how the sheets/covers and pillows are on the bed when I sleep. Everything has to be tucked in just right and pillows have to be in certain places. I have to have at least 4 pillows to sleep comfortably.
5) I get really stressed out when I start new jobs. Every time I start a new job I get sick. For example, I just started 2 new jobs within the last week and a half and I'm just getting over a sinus infection. It never fails.
6) Before I go to bed at night I have to have a glass of water, chap stick, and lotion for my hands.
7) When I'm nervous I can't eat. Even if my stomach is growling, I have to force myself to eat so I won't starve to death.
8) I love road trips. I'm all ready planning one for next summer: driving from Texas to Minnesota and back. It's just a great way to get to know someone better and see the world.
I've gotten more into to tv since I've become a stay at home mom. Not always so good for me. And I am just like #2!! That's the whole reason I wanted to teach. :) It was great seeing all of you guys today!
