I am a couple of days late getting this together, but 6 years ago, we started a journey that has been amazing. God has blessed our lives so much. Here is a trip down memory lane of our big day! For those of you who were present at our special day...thanks for being there. Pics may be a little hard to see, believe it or not we didn't really know what digital photography was so I don't have digital files. I had to scan them into the computer.
I remember that beautiful wedding. I also remember freezing my patootie off. LOL. I think my favorite part was Jacob (I think it was Jacob) coming down the aisle ringing the bell and saying "The bride is coming! The bride is coming!" It was one of the most precious things I've ever seen. Happy anniversary!
Well, since being on Facebook, much has occurred. So I figured I would update for those of you who are still Pleo lurkers!!
We have been gazelle intense with Dave Ramsey's plan and have been very successful. We decided to sell both of our vehicles. We quite quickly sold J's on ebay to someone in Russia....and we sold mine to someone via craigslist. Then we needed vehicles..we had some cash and bought a 1987 BMW off ebay. It is a fun little car but there is a lot of rust under the car because it was from Indiana (SALT). Just about a week or two ago we were at the local fast food chain...wait the only fast food chain (HAHA) and we saw a car for sale. Drove by and again paid cash for it. So we have 2 cars now both paid for. DAVE would be proud. If you don't know Dave you can go to his website and see for yourself. He has been very motivating. THat is our TMM update.
We also had an unfortunate event. On one of my Teacher work days, I decided to use some comp time so we could go kayaking. We have an acquaintance who owns a pair and they let us borrow them. So we were kayaking up the Weikva (crystal clear and beautiful) and having a good ole time. We came to some rapids and we tried several times to go thru them but I fell out once hitting some rocks (OUCH!) and Jerad tried one more time and we decided to head back the other way. It was a nice peaceful adventure. Then we decided to go fishing. So we went fishing and we were having fun. In fact we had both caught 2 and were "TIED". So Jerad thought he found a nice spot to fish and decided to cross the dead tree to get to the other side of the river. Well whatever he was standing on broke and face first he goes into the rather low river. He came up-thank goodness he didn't hit his head. However, he had gashed all skin layers of his leg. So for the past three weeks he has been recuperating. Is that word spelled right? Speaking of spelling
My class has still been awful this year..however, my worst student has possibly moved to G'ville so I am praying for the official paperwork to be slid across my desk.
I am pretty sure that is the summary of the most interesting things in the life of the Black's. So for those of you who were able to take the time to read this lengthy update, we hope all of you are doing well and we look forward to hearing from you!
Good for you guys and your Ramsey plan! That's wonderful that you both have that much dedication. Glad Jared's okay! What grade do you have? I have a 5th grader that I could beat with a stick every day. He's SO abnoxious! I wish he'd move! :)

hope you get rid o' the kid. Get well J, but I think I would tell people I got bit by an alligator, it sounds more manly. We must be doing really well on Dave's plan since we now own 4 cars that are paid for (stop laughing at me J)
Hey there...yes, Rebecca called me a while ago. I know that Rebecca is busy w/ school right now. I know how that is...I hope that you all are doing well...and that J has recovered from his mis-step. OUCH!

Well, I have been told several times to check out facebook and I am actually quite impressed. So Jerad and I both have our own facebook accounts.
It is nice because I don't have to pay to only allow certain people access to my data..very nice.
I know Pleo doesn't charge that much but right now it's not in the budget..per DAVE.
So we have facebook, and we will occasionally be coming back to check on those of you who are still on pleo. We just wanted you to know that we haven't disappeared from the face of the earth.
