There's a lady that works in my building and she has kinda short blondish hair. Every day, she looks like she stuck her finger in an electrical socket then applied a bottle of hairspray. Seriously. It's amazing the way her hair sticks out 2 inches on either side with no movement whatsoever.
So, the other day I'm on the elevator with her, and she says, "I just love your hair!" That doesn't say much for me...
In other news, I'm getting married in two weeks and my dress STILL isn't here yet. But I'm still not freaking out about it. Trying to be the calm and collected bride. I hope I haven't been bridezilla to anyone (other than the crazy lady that made me flash the whole store).
On a positive note, Amendment 1 passed. YAY! We'll all keep our jobs!
The only thing I have to say regarding the election is this: When they announced Obama President-elect, Tom Brokaw said the following:
"Just four years ago today, he became a freshman Senator. And now, he's President-elect of the United States of America."
I laughed. Do those words not sound ridiculous?? I wondered how anyone could hear that statement and NOT think it was a bad idea to vote for him. I mean, would a Fortune 500 company hire a CEO with 4 years of part-time (Congress is not always in session) experience? I highly doubt it. Yet, here we are, with a freshman Senator as the next leader of the free world.
Oh well. It matters not. God is in control. :)
