International Delight has a new flavored creamer in its Limited Edition series - White Chocolate Coconut.
I just thought it was so delicious it deserved its own post.
That's all.
More newsworthy update coming soon. I promise.
Good night.
*Update~!
Some of you may have already read this, since I waited for her to break her own news first - but my daughter has been promoted to Assistant/Closing Manager of Edgar's Bakery (at Patton Creek in B'ham)! They also submitted her name to be the cake decorator at their location, as well! I'm proud of her, of course! Yay!
Sounds yummy, but bet the sugar content is high...just wondering. I'm also a chemical freak--don't won't any. Let me know what the bottle says. I love the smell of coffee!
May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be those of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words . . .
May 2009 be the best year of your life!!!
**had to leave this on here for a little while :)**

We don't know what all 2009 may bring, but we can trust in the One who does! I hope things will look brighter for you this year. You have conquered so much already and through your faith you have encouraged us. :-)
There have been some drastic negative changes in my life over the past 18 months. I hope to make a few more, that will be for the better, very soon.
I am hoping to do these things in order to make that happen:
1. Get into a smaller house (one that still has enough room, but not quite so much to heat/cool - those utility bills are killing me. No joke)
2. Go back to school
3. Improve my children's lives as well as my own (I guess everything on this list is an attempt at that one, so...)
4. Get in shape and stay that way
5. Be more patient
...that's all I've got so far (other than my usual day-to-day things that I work on - Bible study, prayer, etc).
I have not felt the need to see a therapist or take any medication for some of the mild (mild, in my book - but then again, I'm not a doctor) depression issues I've had as a result of the negative things that have happened to me. I trust in God to help me through things, as well as the family He has blessed me with, and so far that has been a tremendous help. Not trying to belittle anyone who is a therapist, because I actually have been to one a couple of times (who is also a friend), and that was helpful at the time. I sometimes get really down and out, but always manage to find my way out of it. I'm hoping by attempting to take more control of things and just take action to improve all around, that will help me a lot. Prayers are appreciated!
I love that version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow! Have you seen Australia? I can't hear that song anymore without certain feelings because of that movie!
Sure you can! Use your kids as your practice!!!!!! They might get a better respect for you when they realize you can take all their blood from them!!!!!
Kerry, I admire and appreciate your positive outlook. The Lord will bless you for keeping Him in your life among the negative turmoil you have had to deal with over the past 18 months. I'd love for you to come visit sometime. And if you need advice on a healthy lifestyle, that is almost my hobby. Guess we all have over little demons...I'm trying to avoid alzheimer's disease like my Mom and Grandmother have deteriated with in such a terrible way. So... eat your veggies and fruit and avoid lots of red meat or fried foods and enjoy all the good out there...and God bless you and yours!! And have a great 2009.
My middle son, Jonah, obeyed the gospel this morning! We are all so thrilled and proud of him. It's something he's been thinking about for a while, now, and we are so happy that he made that all-important decision today! Rejoice with us!
**In other (trivial, compared to the above!) news, we are enjoying our Christmas break! It's always good to get together with family and have fun, and it's also wonderful just to be able to do nothing, if the mood strikes me! I'm glad to be able to sleep in and/or stay up as late as I want to for a few days! That's always a blessing, to me!!
kerry, this is wonderful news! it should give you great peace of mind that jonah had been thinking about it for a while now. i think that says a lot about his understanding of the serious nature of this decision to follow Christ! :)
What a wonderful way to start out the new year! Congrats to Jonah and also to you. I know that you have had a great influence for good to your children.
That is so Awesome!! I am so happy and thankful for his example and courage. It is always so encouraging to see a new generation of Christians coming along to continue on in the TRUTH!!
Well I thought y'all might not be home by the time we came. Mitch played pool at the Duncan's; we weren't in a big hurry to get away anyway. Hopefully we'll be back for the 31st of Jan.
When I'm pregnant I dream some crazy stuff. Well last night I had a weird dream about you! You were the girls' high school basketball coach for a private school (either FCA or ABS!) and you needed someone to play cause you had an injured player so I tried out and you accepted me and I was horrible. I was so nervous and everyone was mad at you for choosing me cause I was so bad. You kept telling me I could do it! It was weird!
Bedtime Stories was fantastic! The theater was packed, and I think about half of the crowd was from ABS! Can't speak for Marley & Me, but Despereaux, or whatever that mouse's name is, was not worth the money, IMO. It was one of those where most all the good parts are in the trailer...
I saw Micah last night at the Rec center. That's where my mom's extended family got together. It was fun. I think he and David W. played basketball with my nephews and a few of the men from my family. Lee had to take some Advil this morning so he could function!LOL Hope you're enjoying your break.
I wish I could have had more children to teach driving!! When I was Heather's age my nephew John was born. We had all our family together Friday night and the noise level was unreal. There is something about a large family all being under roof that is so exciting for me.
