Work has claimed me this week, I have to devote 40 hours to the AEO.
I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas, and I expect to see several of you at my house on New Years Eve! Stay safe, and try to have some restraint when it comes to the feasting, LOL!
I was thinking I'd update, but I don't really have anything to update on...
Looks like the fam will be staying here for this years end. I won't be able to get off work, so I was gonna be here regardless.
It snowed again last night. For all I know, my car is still covered over with ice, and that's after driving up to Lafayette this morning.
Semester ends in 2 weeks. Looking forward to that. I'm ready for a change in some of my classes. Grades look pretty good this time around too, so I'm pleased with that.
I finally decided to venture into the realm of teaching and signed up for the Wednesday toddler class for this upcoming rotation. Should be fun, I'll prob only have Cameron and Drew. Meghan and Corbin were mad that I'm not taking their class. IDK, maybe I'll switch to the elementary if someone else really wants the toddlers. I forgot to ask dad what Cathy said last night.
Uh, I think I might have had something else, but I forgot it. Prince Caspian came out Tuesday. (Hint hint)
Well now...when you're at good looking as I am!... :) Yes. She is very much a movie person. she likes to come over her and stretch out on the sofa and watch DVD's with me. Good idea!
Ok, dude, guess what? We were visiting my relatives out in Ohio. We went to a mall. There was a Hot Topic in the mall. my sister got a shirt with a lolcat holding a [red] lightsaber. The caption is "Come to da darksidez. We haz cheezeburgerz". LOLZ!!! (BTW, it's a cartoon cat, not a real cat pic but its stil teh awesome!)
Better advice would probably be 'grin and bear it'.
This morning while we were 'literally' guarding various pallets of merchandise, people were wandering around wondering where everything was. My coworker asked a man "What are you looking for?" The man replied "What are YOU looking for?" Needless to say it was the first of many frightening types of people. Sadly, I just read that a 37 y/o W-M maintenance man was killed in NY. Seems the crowds even broke down the metal doors trying to get in and 'crumpled' them. I guess I'm glad we're 24/7 so they can just come in and circle the merchandise like vultures.
