Hello All! Yes, I deleted all my previous posts...I might be having some privacy issues. Sorry if you left me the most awesome comment ever and I deleted it...I still love you for loving me, though! I thought I would update you on my life a little bit.
Lukas is now 6 months and counting! He weighs 17 pounds 12 ounces and is 28 inches long! He is very tall. He has three teeth in, and he is getting about five more! We don't sleep. My family adores him, haha, who wouldn't!? My mom and little brother have driven down to our new house several times to visit with us because they miss him every time they leave (awwwww).
Motherhood is something that is so crazy! I have learned a lot about myself--especially my limits. I need to have several hours of sleep to function. Patience seems to run thin if you do not sleep for several nights straight! I have also learned that it is possible to love a human more than I love my husband. I've been trying to think of a way to describe the way you feel about giving birth to a baby, and this is the the best I can do: it's like you have had a pen pal forever, and you know everything there is to know about them except what they look like. Then, one day, they are there right before your eyes, and there's nothing left to wonder about! Sorry but that's all I've got...
I hope one day if you want children, you get them because it is such a rewarding experience! I just hope we are able to do a good job with what God has given us. Our son is definitely a gift from the heavens! We love him very much, and we are thankful to have this opportunity to raise him. Will we have more??? I just do not know the answer to that right now...maybe one day I'll know if we will have another baby or not.
