We had our first snow here last week. Got about 3 inches and it stuck around for a couple of days, so I got my fix. hehe It hasn't seemed bitter cold here... I'm anxious to see how big of a difference we notice in humidity and such when we get back to IN
Very neat. We were there for about three hours helping to get the food ready and to serve it up onto plates that were then served by others to others. :) This one gal helping also in the kitchen, who was black needed my help for something and then gave me a big hug and said, "Thank you baby." (sigh) She was great! And I loved serving beside her! It was a wonderful experience and one I am sure we will repeat. Hope your holiday was yummy and wonderful too!

I miss hearing from you more. Odd how I get so attached to people I have never met. Hope to change that some day.
No.....everything is as bad as always. We are so cold and I can see the wind pushing out against the plastic. We bought another heater but we need to cover up more areas. There is a cold breeze coming from somewhere underneath the computer desk that we can't find.
You may just be the only one who got that :)...Yes, it was in reference to big gulps. Whenever we go to FL, I point out the corner store where my diet coke habit started. It has changed names/ownership a dozen times, but it is still there!
I really enjoyed Twlilight. My husband and son read them as well as our teen girls. We all saw the movie together (with Josh nursing and napping--and being walked in the side isle during tense parts)... Fun!
Yeah, you're right about the books... I've always been the type that didn't want to "burden" anyone else by letting them help me. I heard someone say several years ago that it is selfish and prideful of me to not allow others to fulfill their Christian duty and servanthood by not letting them help me. It's often good to get reminders of that though. I'll try to get the books. Thank you :)
