I want to exercise more. But, without doing anything or making myself uncomfortable.
I want to learn something new. But, without putting forth any effort.
I want to get control of our money and budget. But, without sacrificing.
So, how do you think this will work out! :o) None the less, these are what I would like to work on. The first of the year is like early spring cleaning: It is a fresh start to try to make changes and clean out the cobwebs of the previous year. May you and your families be blessed for 2009!!
Hey...I want all of these things too. Let me know how this works for you. I like the analogy about the new year being like spring cleaning. I have never been more happy to start over than this year. :-)
Its more like a nighmare. In the past 24 hours we've received over two feet of snow. It was slow getting here but it has arrived with a vengence. Rich and I spent several hours clearing snow and uncovering cars Christmas morning. Cars were slipping and sliding into snow banks.
Everyone come skiing and snowboarding. I'll even have hot chocolate for all.
Rich and I are home alone tonight. That happens quite a lot these days with the girls working or at school. We were watching Alvin and the Chipmunks...so cute and funny! Rich got up to get a drink and said, "It's snowing!" He just went out to warm up the car to go get Britt from work! He said it is really coming down now! Woo-Hoo!!!!! I let Joxer out and he didn't know what to do with it. He started jumping around snapping and woofing at the flakes as they were falling, goofy dog! Now he is all wet and I need to dry him off before he can come back in. Maybe this is the beginning, better late than never. Rich said I need to add pics. He will have to help me with that since I am so computer challenged. Love to you all and Merry Christmas!!!!
We had the cookie exchange today at Sylvia's. Lots of really cute cookies. I still remember one year at Brenda's when Britt was tiny saying "pretty lights." Where has the time gone? And while I'm at it, where has the color of my hair gone. haha
Oops! I'm going to comment on my own page. First of all, it is "please". And I wasn't done! I am so computer challenged. Anyway, we have NO snow!!! Where is it?? People around here are getting antsy to ski and snowboard...well, not me personally, but the girls and friends. I am the cookie baking, hot chocolate making, stay warm and safe in my house person. I occasionally go out and throw a snowball or make a snowman, but that about all for me and winter sports. I wonder if there could be am olympic hot chocolate sipping medal. I would SO win the gold in that!!! Merry Christmas and love to you all!!!
I'm with ya on being the cookie baking, hot chocolate making, stay warm and safe in my house person. I love the snow it I don't have to get out. Hope you get snow soon...for the girls!! lol
I like the snow at night when it's freshly fallen and it reflects the moon light. It's very calming and peaceful. I miss that, oh well, I try to sleep at night instead of watching the snow now. Hailey looks she's enjoying married life. Jill will be trying it out in about 8 days.
Hello everyone, Well, Hailey's wedding is over and it all went very well ( with the help of Brenda and Virginia). I was thinking during all the travelling and bustle of the wedding that things would get calmer after. NOT!!! Now we have Thanksgiving and then close on it's heals Christmas!! I am not really ready for either, but then it is always like this. I would just like things to get back to normal, but this is normal. One thing after another, running in circles, trying to get everything done. I guess in reality, I love it, the chaos and planning of things. We are having 16 people for Thanksgiving and then I need to get shopping done. There are gingerbread houses to make, cookies and candy, decorating, lights on the house before it snows, loved ones from church up for a brunch. So much to do...let the chaos begin!!!!
i am the same way, now that wedding and shower season are over, it is time to make the christmas presents, cook for thanksgiving and bake for christmas! :) when it is over, i know i'll end up sick! boo
I was wanting Carol's email to send her Deb's sight for the bows. You can still send it to me though and I might shoot her an email. I know I am no way ready for the holidays. We still have Jill's wedding and I am working on dresses for that and have a convention to go to right after Thanksgiving for a week. I keep thinking it will slow down but I sure don't know when.
I love the pics! This is a really neat website. A great way to keep in touch. Looks like you had a busy Christmas. We love you and hope you keep warm. Give the girls hugs for us
