Last year I couldn't go to fc college camp here in Oregon because you have to be 18. She told me about it, but she told me there was a texas fc college camp there called Dry Creek Camp. My mind was swimming, and I couldn't get to sleep. I have a big ol' headache. I'd take some ibuprofen, but it's downstairs. I don't want to go down the stairs. I'll just sleep. I hope tomorrow is better. Tomorrow is the Valley Symphony Orchestra and Chorale holiday concert. I'm excited. The orchestra is doing some interesting stuff, and the chorale is joining them for The Many Moods of Christmas, suite two and a few choruses (chori?) from Handel's Messiah. Should be good. PS - I learned how to make coffee today. I sorta had to, because my head director decided not to show up today, leaving me in charge of our coffee and hot chocolate fundraiser by default. The shepherds and other folks there went out of their way to make me feel welcome. So many folks wanted to meet me. I was edified and encouraged in away that I hadn't been in a long time. I think the Lord was leading me there today, and I'm grateful. Uplifted and conflicted.
