Well, we are back from our anniversary trip. We had a great time! Our cabin was small but cozy. We ate ALL the time. We didn't do a whole lot but really enjoyed everything we did do. Yesterday we just sat around the cabin most of the day.
It is amazing how much has happened in a year! I plan to send a "newsletter" out to everyone. Especially since I failed to get some of our wedding thank you's out. I figure a one year update may make up for that.
Here's a short version for you all:
January- Finally got moved to Jamestown. I began working from home.
February- We got baby fever so we got a hamster. We also found out Kels had a brain tumor. I was able to spend some time in Arkansas then.
March- I don't know that anything of real note happened in March. We were still praying lots for Kelsey and realizing that Jamestown was insanely cold and snowy!
April- I turned 23. We spent most of our weekends traveling. Ugh.
May- We went on vacation with Marshall's parents.
June- Our hamster died. We decided to move to TN. We prepared to be counselors at camp.
July- We went to camp. Had a great time! We packed up and moved to TN.
August- We tried to get settled in. We got our sweet sugar glider Zaylie.
September- Marshall turned 30! We also found out we were expecting.
October- We dealt with the loss of our baby. We were also able to spend some extra time with my parents.
November- We decided to spend the month in Indiana. We also went to Arkansas for Thanksgiving.
December- Still can't believe it's December already! We decided we wanted to stay in Indiana. Marshall got a couple of interviews. Still waiting on answers from that. We celebrated one year together and spent an amazing weekend in Gatlinburg.
As you can see, even with the short version, we have done a lot in the year we've been married.
Last year:
This year (poor hubby has his eyes closed!):
Praying to hold these this time next year:
More accurately hoping to meet our little blessing in August!!! I'm pregnant again!!! This little blessing is truly a gift from God.
I have had no cause for concern this time. I have been taking progesterone pills to make sure little baby has what it needs to stick around. So far so good!
Please, please, pray for us. While we are thrilled we are also apprehensive. While I am still very early in this pregnancy, we do not wish to keep it to ourselves as we wish to have as many prayers for us as we can.
