Yay! That'd be great. You can hang out as much as you want! :) We can probably put Eden in our room for a night and let you sleep in her room. Or you could stay with someone in Bowling Green, but I'm not sure who you know here anymore. Ann Lovelady lives here, but I'm not sure she's back in town yet.
I would definitely be up for hanging out, and you guys would certainly be welcome to crash here. I do work a lot of weekends, though, so it somewhat depends on exactly when this will be. :-) You'd still be welcome to stay here, even if I had to work--and I'd be able to hang out for some day-time hours, too, since I don't work til 4 in the afternoon. Just let me know when you're thinkin' and we can try to figure something out. :-) My next full weekend off isn't until the 30th of Jan, but I do have Friday the 16th and Friday the 23rd off, so if you were thinking one of those 2 weekends I'd be free to hang anytime Friday until 4 in the afternoon Saturday. And of course, right now any plans I make have the potential to fall through if there ends up being a funeral, but I'm trying to stay positive on that one. :-/ Well, now that I've excessively described my life and all the possibilities for weekend visits during the next month... :-P Just let me know what you're thinkin' and we'll see what we can do; it would be great to see you! :-)
PS. I noticed that one of your friends' on your list is titled "Limey." That cracks me up because it's what Michelle named the tick that got on her at Dunes this year!
you were in my dream last night. you and all my family were at someone's house who just happened to have an ocean in their back yard. we were standing at the ocean and saw tons of dolphins playing around, then penguins starting walking up out of the water towards us. we took pictures of them standing right by my niece Payton (at that point I knew something was weird bc Payton is a scaredy-cat and she was too calm) but the penguins had big round markings on them that reminded me of a toucan, orange and black on their white tummies and others had yellow and black. weird. random. I hope your new year has started off great! and glad you are safely back from Peru! (in my dream you told me you had just returned from Peru!)
Ryan has one at his lab. It's probably not quite as fancy as the one on the website, but it's close. He uses it all the time. I was amazed the first time I saw the stuff he "printed!"
We don't get Lyme's disease here. Tick bites are less dangerous in Africa than in America. Isn't that crazy? Oh and since you haven't been answering your phone when I call, I have decided that you don't get to see me on this visit. :p Actually, will you be in Louisville on December 2? I'll be in Bowling Green the 1st-4th and Philip has to work on the 2nd so I'm hoping to visit with Chad Lynn and his wife on the 2nd and thought I might see you too.
"Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more worth than many sparrows."
Just wanted to put something up a little more chipper than yesterday! God loves us and has given us His law for our good always, accroding to Deuteronomy. Why should we fear?
I emailed you. Unfortunatly neither my sister or I will be able to make it. She has stuff to do for school and I have previous plans and didn't know about it till I got home from FC. But thank you for the invitation and if you have another one we will make sure to come!
I actually got to meet Mr.Malone last night. I didn't really get to talk to him because he just had gotten in from a long day, and there were a lot of people there. Hopefukky though, I wil get to see him in a little bit. : ) I am excited!
okay, you need to blog! I am going to heckle you via texting, and if you don't blog soon I am going to repeat my comment I made to you about a certain "Quantum of Solace" actor!
no emily at christmas?! wow, i'm glad i got to see you for a few minutes when you were down here earlier this year, otherwise it would have been forever. still, that's a bummer. thanks on the well wishes for next semester.
Hey, thanks :) By the way, I sent you and Steph both a CD (purchased). But to be thrifty and since I had Steph's snail mail address, I sent them both to her address. So, um...happy holidays :) Hopefully you two will see each other in the not too distant future.
Psm 119:28
My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your Word.
Its interesting to me how parts of the bible that I've read before but didn't let sink in will touch me when I read them later. I always kinda thought of 119 as a more intellectual praise of God's laws, but there is actually a lot of emotional stuff in there too, when you let yourself read it in a different light.
Silly me-never underestimate the power of God's word to touch hearts! If you think of me at some point today, I'd appreciate a prayer. Hope you all are doing well!
miss you, Em! I need to come visit you sometime!!! :D I'll be in Louisville the weekends after Thanksgiving and Christmas with Ryan's family to visit his grandmommy (but my guess is that you won't be there). Am I right? So I should come visit sometime.
Oh I ok I just wondered becasue she used to live in Lousville and she just got married to one of the men who goes to church here and now goes to church HERE! Whew!! I if I was saying that out loud I would have had to take some albuterol! lol
The weather was amazing! It was not freezing at all, so my face is still on my head cause I didn't freeze it off. Very exciting. Thanks for the well wishes:) I feel motivated to leave you all another laugh. Have a smashing day everyone!
very valid question, my only counter to it would be that even if a person doesn't say the words outloud they generally sound them out in their mind therefore I would conclude that the logical thought would still be there. :)
