	emotionalalienation massive nutcracker France entry list groups Movie_reviews browncoats PittSteelersFans		'i would, but im paralysed with not caring very much' 12-29-08 12:11am CET so im leaving france in a few days... i've been saying goodbye to most of my friends. packing my bags (how did i get so much stuff?) and running around attempting to close bank accounts and cell phone. seriously the french have mastered the art of red tape... i got flashed on the metro today on my way to church that left me with a disturbing image for the rest of the day what IS it with creepy old men here? im not sure where im going next and im looking for a job...so if any of you have any ideas...i've been applying online at places...so far nothing...got one rejection but it was for a job in saudia arabia so im not too terrible upset about it..(dont worry mum)...not that im stressed about it...im just watching the sound f music on repeat.. i'll be at my parents house for couple weeks and then im going to fl... so if you want to say hi try to be in one of those states because i dont have a car... i still have quite a few pictures to post.. so christmas foods of france and germany tarte flambe marshmallows dipped in different kinds of chocolate Sausages! ok this one's german cookies one this street there were chandeliers all the way down the street this store sells nothing but men's boxers and trunks ugly ones see you in the states...hopefully carolyn Chicago has tons of places where you could use your mad cooking skillz. 'So easy to hit. he soon was quite dead' 12-18-08 11:42pm CET so i hiked out to the eiffle tower to take pictures. its been lit up blue since sarkozy became the head of the eu i like the blue but i hadnt gotten a chance get out there since then..cause the eiffle tower is kinda out there... my pictures didnt turn out but the vidios did... i would suggest that you turn down the volume and NOT listen to my commentary...i was planning to post pictures but they didnt come out...but i think the blue eiffle tower worth seeing.. sparkles figures the night i picked was foggy and so the top just kind of ends into a blue fuzzy mass also did anybody get my quote??? megan_leigeber that futuristic clothes thing is ridiculous.  slave_of_jesus_jdb So, um, why is the video taken rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise?  slave_of_jesus_jdb Still pretty though  runningjake Huh, I've never seen it blue. Canada Street! Galeries LaFayette paris's big department store...built in an old palace. with a great view deck on the roof huge inflatable elephant...not entirely sure why it as at the chistmas market.. christmas ceiling nothing like a hot chocolate on a bitterly bitterly cold day...ad rainy did i mention rainy? the weather has been horrible... plus we get a tacky commemorative mug i so need a haircut i look ridiculous wearing 4 shirts and a coat and a scarf...did i mention it was cold? stewed mushrooms...sold by the bowl with garlic cream... ok thats all for now can anyone tell me how to put up a video on here? i know that you upload it onto youtube but then what? heatherbrackeen these are awesome! 'you're a wee little puppet man!' 12-13-08 04:51pm CET thanksgiving a time of food friends family.....did i mention food? last year i had thanksgiving at chez moi this year joan decided it was her turn after a year of culinary school and gastronomic restaurant experience the dinner ended up being a little more.... refined. the turkey was cooked to perfection...even the breasts werent dry. we did not have cranberries but we did have truffles! amir was generous enough to bring two perigord truffles to the feast... at 1700 euros a kilo it was quite a treat...we put them in our mashed potatos for my part i made my first tiramisu i went around a scooped it onto peoples plates Amir (imitating tom colicchio): 'the smell, amazing. the taste, if possible,... even better. but the presentation....looks like something the dog already ate' the actual day of thanksgiving was a little rough at the restaurant...we had two huge banquets and the chef was in a towering temper...someone remind me when i go thru my midlife crisis and decide to do a career change that if im going to pick another high pressure job it should be something like air traffic controlling...at least then i'll be financially compensated for bruises and stress headaches... i might be a little burned out... but i still love to cook... fullofgrace if i had to choose between taste and looks, i'd go for taste every time  megan_leigeber that ounds like a yummy thanksgiving.  megan_leigeber *sounds  emmybear i'm glad you still love to cook-otherwise this would all be so pointless....  emmybear saw on glo's blog that you'll be back in January-let me know where you'  emmybear saw on glo's blog that you'll be back in January-let me know where you'll be!  runningjake Yum!
