I am in class a minimum of 6 hours a week and study 1-3 hours per hour in class. Some weeks I study more than others. Anyhow, if I pass, I will be licensed tax preparer. The State of Oregon is the only state in the US that requires tax preparers to pass a test to have a license. In California you have to have a license, but you simply pay for it. I am still working for H & R Block, but if I pass the test...I will make more money!!! Yay! trekkiemom Yeah!! We went to go to the balloon glow Saturday night and it was pouring down rain. It rained all night long. It was quite chilly today. Sounds like a long time ago, but in many ways I feel young. My DH is elk hunting, gone for 10 or 11 days. He took me to Claim Jumper last night- mmmmmm I had pot pie and of course the MOTHERLODE (no, I did not eat all of anything)!!! karatemom Frank just got back today. He got nothing! The couple were probably in their 60's. They did the tight rope act, lion tamer, butterfly fairies and then we walked down the road with giant puppets that the parents had to man and the kids moved their arms.
